Blind Chic

Blind Chic was born in summer of 2011, when a Hungarian fashion designer (Julia Vesmás) and a Slovenian graphic designer (Neza Peterca) have found each other on a road trip, cycling from  Ljubljana  to  Budapest.  The  real  journey  has  started,  when  they  actually  arrived  to Budapest. “We decided to embrace our passion in a brand that offers cycling accessories for those who love riding, appreciate unique handmade products and want to spread the lifestyle of the increasing cycling community.” Due to our international background, and different cultural history, we aim to include a global simplicity, still a very personal perspective, when designs are created. The concept we represent embraces a philosophy of sharing cultural differences, ideas and re-joining creativity, in order to aim for better, and/or for a more distinctive design. That is the reason why we are constantly collaborating with different designers, visual artists, bike lovers or creators and with other labels or even bicycle shops. We focus on quality, comfort and functionality, meanwhile not making compromises against style

Y.LD by Dora Mojzes

Y.ld is a wordplay on “wild” and we pronounce it the same way. Dora Mojzes first  broke the surface in 2008 with her graduation work for Moholy Nagy University of Art and Design, Hungary, when she earned the prize of the Hungarian Artists' National Association. In 2009 she launched her individual brand named Dora Mojzes .“My aim is to create garments reflecting the style, the emotions and the attitude of the individual.I considers my garments the tool of artistic self-expression.In all of my plans feminity is focused.I am a true born Alien fan , the sci-fi and futuristic things always affected me. Most of the time i have rock music playing in the background and I have found that has a huge influence on my work and the garments I create. Creating a vision that encapsulates the music, the science fiction literature and my garments is my ultimate manifesto.”

Derszu makes classic, oldfashioned mountainman-style bags, backpacks, beltpouches, etc. for outdoor and for everyday urban purposes as well.  We prefer simpler and natural way of living, hiking, camping, we like handy and useful craft products, antiques, old military items, durable and long lasting materials that's why we use mostly vintage army surplus stuff to repurpose.

Ms. Herskin

Mrs Herskin is an accessories designer born from the deep dense earth of Eastern Europe. She came out to the public for the first time in 2010 with an art project in which she was searching for distorted realities and created four experimental glasses using specially developed crystals, prisms and minerals. This “Sight-modifiers” project got her into the finals of the International Talent Support (ITS) competition in the same year. She launched her first collection soon after this international debut and started focusing her brand on unique leather bags and small accessories.Mrs Herskin creates only one collection a year, a series of deeply inspired, peculiar pieces that are only available in limited numbers. Next to this exclusive collection, she has launched MRSH ISM, a permanent collection that she considers to be the essence of the brand, a secret alphabet of the Mrs Herskin stories.Mrs Herskin lives and works in the heart of Eastern Europe and she gets her inspirations from the mystics of the land (whispers of past, present and future) and the thick air that surrounds her. All of this reflects as a trademark on her collections, along with her strong relationship to fine arts. For Mrs Herskin every material has its own individuality. These identities appear on the surfaces of the leathers – spots, darker colors, lines and cuts, imperfections that turn into exquisite virtues on her workbench. She is attracted to unusual shapes, handmade details that are defined by the object itself, yet the functionality of her pieces is designed with a practical mind, with attention to everyday usability. Free of clichés, she embroiders thoughts and manners, building a wonderland of inspiring forms, textures and materials. Each Mrs Herskin collection has a different story where every object is a carefully sculpted, unique and unrepeatable symbol. Her creations are timeless statements of quiet extravagance, opening up a new world you might not have known existed.
